time & time again
do not say i love you if you are lying
your heart is spying and knows the truth
and will not suffer that sort of abuse
for long. what are you on?
your word is your bond. but i know sometimes
it can make you feel like a hostage, so
it's helpful to have a reliable adage like
i am, i am what i wear, what i hate
what i eat, what i don't, what i read, what i say
what i think, what i like, what i drive, where i went,
who i know, what i learned, what i burned, what i spent
someday they'll be selling these skyscrapers for a dollar
and only those who are loved will be those with the power
so do not say those words if you are lying
someday it might mean the difference between living
and dying
you are a birthday
deep with the dayshine
from dusk to moonbreak
the dust of keepsakes
